Mow 2007/10/22
where did you find the blueprints for the 2008? I could use those.
Major Dack 2007/06/08
I almost finished modeling an EVO VI Stock and i have a render of it on dacksoldier.deviantART.com
i used the-blueprints for reference and then all of a sudden it won't let me render the car anymore sucks eh...
Admin Edit: What doesn't work when you render? Sure you haven't set it on render selected only or something like that?
joran 2007/05/09
man i see so much mistakes in this model, maybe u should try to fix it a little
Admin Edit: Good for you. But: why? I have no interest in this model, it was a paid job, I made it, the guy who wanted it done was more than pleased with it.
And mistakes? How about naming a few...

Hello there, first thing very nice work man I especially liked the porche you did. I'm a 3D modeller my self I have been for about 3 years and built some decent cars my self but I was wondering when modelling a car like this, with the body, did you build the lot all as one object or did you use seperate parts and just stick them on just interested in how u did it. Any ways nice work dude

I noticed that your client for this job was Mark Gundy. Mark is an old friend and former racing partner whom I have lost touch with.
If you could help me get in touch with him, I would be very grateful.
As a way of veryfying that this is the same Mark Gundy, the one I seek is an American currently (or recently) living in the UK. If you still have contact with him and need to verify my knowledge of him further, in the 80's he owned a big white dog named Boomer, and raced in the Renault Cup formula series.
Thanks and Regards,
Irv Pearce

Sharvil 2006/08/16
Can you send the the max file so i can see how to to do it because i am having trouble with the polygon part and also which set of blue prints did you use?
Admin Edit: Sorry, I never give away any of the work I do.
I used the prints from my own website I think: www.the-blueprints.com.
Hidar 2006/08/05
can I do a job like that !! No, I do not think so
Mike Moore 2006/07/29
I also have a desire to hook up with Mark Gundy. A Google search directed me to this site, where I see someone else was looking for him.
Please ask him to contact me at the following e-mail address: mmoore@fma.fujitsu.com.
His father and mine were business partners in the late '60s, early '70s. His mother and mine (who is still living) were close friends.
I'd very much like to make contact with him.
Regards.

hi, its a good model, but there are really mistakes in it.
The whole car looks a bit too short, the rear part over the wheel is a bit sloppy and the wheels have different sizes or look like that.
Admin Edit: It fits the blueprints perfectly. I can't help that the car looks this way. ;) And all the wheels are the same size.
Your porsche is such a great one by the way, it looks like real and I think its one of the best car models ive ever seen!

Hi,
Man thats and awesome job there, it looks damn good! In fact, I'm trying to model a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII myself, but since i only have 1 year of experience in 3D and using Blender, I must say that mine is really not that good at all. But since i'm "new" to 3D im looking for things which can show me how professionals make those things they make, how their modelling looks like and how they make textures etc. It gives a goal, instead of making something which I don't know what leads too or if it's totally wrong. So, I want to ask you if you could show a render of that Mitsubishi in wireframe? It would help me much seeing how you actually modelled the car, and I can compare it with my own. Of course it's up to you, but there are many people who would like some help, but don't get it because they either work with a free source program or just doesn't get any help at all in, for an example, forums.
Oh, and I have another question, how long have you been making 3D, and what programs are you using?
Best regards, Kim.

Hey Ono, you haven't been in chat recently and I noticed a good friend of mine Irv Pearce posted on this site looking for me. If you can let him know how to reach me either via email or MagChat.
BTW, still love what you did with the car only the current horse power on pump gas is closer to 400 :-)
