I made this television commercial working on freelance basis at PostPanic for around 3 months at the beginning of 2005. The commercial aired on dutch television in April 2005 on almost all regular channels.
Basically everything you see in the commercial I made, apart from the animation of the objects.
This commercial is actually the first actual serious 3D work I did, and I was quite pleased with the end, considering that I never did anything like it.
All modeling was done in Max 6 and 7. Final renders made with Brazil R/S.
Commercial Credits:
Concept: LaMarque
Copywriter: Floris Cornelissen
Art Director: Pascal Bier
Produced and Directed by: PostPanic
Senior 3D Artist: Ivor Goldberg
3D Animator: Time van der Wiel
3D Modeler: Onno van Braam
Lighting: Onno van Braam
Texture Artist: Onno van Braam
Rendering: Onno van Braam

Good one! But the metal part of the tube is not hollow?
Admin Edit: It's hollow, but there were some issues with the reflections (which were blue and white reflection cards), that's why it seems as if it's not hollow. Well spotted though. :)

Hello,
i have just came across your web page and i am very much impressed with the level of detail you achive in your work. Congratulations.
My name is Tomislav. I am a student in Croatia. Faculty of graphic design and i was wandeing if you could point me out where i could find tutorial/explanation on how to animate the building of highly detailed equipment like your vacuum cleaner. I know you did only the modeling but do you know how it is done. I would appreciate it if you could help me out here, I will need it soon for a project i have undergoing in one of my classes.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely yours,
Tomislav

I have followed your site for over a year now, and have been actively still trying to model a car, i just dont get it i dont know why, i am fairly decent at modelling. I have made many things nothing i have ever done is remotely close to the level of beauty, and proffessionalism your renderings show. But i desperately want to be able to model stunningly real looking cars the way you do. Please tell me what im missing. I have tried both spline, and polygon modelling i never seem to get it. If you could give me and advice to show me what im missing i would greatly appreciate it.
